About 50 yards before you reach the medieval city walls at Walmgate Bar, St. Lawrence's is on the left, diagonally opposite the Tam O'Shanter pub.
WALKING DIRECTIONS from University of York campus:
Follow University Road onto Green Dykes Lane. Turn left at the Shell garage onto Hull Road. After a nine minute walk, St. Lawrence's church & hall are on the left, diagonally opposite the Tam O'Shanter pub.
WALKING DIRECTIONS from York St. John University campus:
Follow Lord Mayor's Walk towards Sainsburys. Cross Layerthorpe and continue along Foss Islands Way. Turn left at Walmgate Bar. St. Lawrence's church & hall are about 50 yards on, diagonally opposite the Tam O' Shanter pub.
